8 Months Is So Much Fun!

First ride on the carousel.
Grandma Kathy brought some California flash back from S. Cal for Sophia.

The headband is so comfortable Sophia didn't even know she was wearing it!

She also got another one with a leapord print band and cream flower. Thanks Joan!

10 Reasons I Haven't Posted Lately

Even Sophia knows a bad haircut when she sees one.

Sophia made friends with the cutest little boy named Mason.

Sushi Galore!

My way too cute friend M'Chelene.

Here we are painting the family room.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Good job baby!

She loves being mobile.

Manna from heaven!

The view from Pittock Mansion.

  1. I cut my bangs way too short and it took three weeks for them to recover.

  2. We painted our family room. It has taken my three years to decide to paint it the same color, only a lighter version. :-)

  3. I visited my good friend M'Chelene up in Portland. We took a walk with these goofy hats on, sat and talked and ate ice cream bars on her couch and then went out to frozen yogurt for dinner.

  4. I've been chasing Sophia! She is now crawling, but that is so last week. She now pulls herself up into a standing position and then lets go to see how long she can balance.

  5. I discovered my husband has some mad sushi skills. I now refer to him as Sushi Ben.

  6. I had this super yummy frozen yogurt at a place called Skinny Dip. (twice - shhh)

  7. I raided my friend Nancy's vegetable and flower gardens and among other things found some inspiration for a garden of my own next summer. Thanks Nancy!

  8. Today I made homemade baby food! Sophia had blueberry/bananas and sweet potatoes/ avocado for dinner.

  9. We visited Pittock Mansion. As if the house and the gardens weren't enough you can see all of Portland from up there.

  10. Did I tell you about the frozen yogurt? Seriously, next time you see this place do not drive past it. Stop! Trust me - you'll thank me later.
