Short Hair and The Shamy-Shamy Shamrock

It's that time of year again when I can't seem to take another week of my poofy, high-maintance hair anymore. So I chopped it all off on Saturday and have been delighted with the results. I have had many haircuts which were followed by immediate mourning and bad dreams about my hair 'shrinking' into my scalp, however thankfully this was not one of them. I posted a few pictures to show you below. The first two pictures where taken at The Shamrock Run up in Portland on Sunday morning. Ben and I ran along with my good friend Jessie, her best friend, her sister and her sister's friend. When we got up at 5am Sunday morning with it really being 4am due to the time change Ben and I asked ourselves, "Did we really pay for this torture?" But by the time we got in the car we were already making jokes. It was super fun going on an adventure with my Mister while Grandma Kathy took the early morning shift with Sophia. Our team, The Almost Runner Girls (and Guy) ran the 5k and all crossed the finish line with smiles. Go team, go!

If Ben is beaming it's because he ran his fastest ever on Sunday finishing the 5k race (3.2 miles) in 22 minutes and some change. SMOKIN"!

Happy green girls. We wore fun St. Patty's bling and someone even yelled from the crowd of onlookers that they liked my boa as I flailed by.

Side view worn sleek and smooth ...

or a little bit flippy. Better flippy than floppy.

Me loves short hair!
