A Picture Update On My Little Miss

The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house
All that cold, cold, wet day.

I sat there with Sophia.
We sat there we two.
And I said, "How I wish
We had something to do!"

And then I thought,
"I know it is wet
And the sun is not sunny.
But we can have
Lots of good fun that is funny!"

Who says tents are for outside?

Did you ever wonder what a ladybug ballerine might look like? There is always dress-up when things get slow.

And laundry baskets...

But when all else fails eat ice cream!

And play on the toys at McDonald's.

The past few weeks have been full of colds and coughs and the flu and rain. Now Sophia is on the mend from a double ear infection. Even so it amazes me how little people are so resilient and still look for the fun in less than favorable conditions. Here's a peek into our homemade fun and a few outings too.
